Design decisions are in many ways dictated by the context and project specific parameters, and as one of the many players in the team, we often have less agency to effect change than we wanted. However, we believe design is a practice that keeps exploring boundaries and investigating possibilities. Here, we look into some of the materials we researched or used in projects and take time to understand these materials from a broader perspective beyond the project, in relation to our current state of material ecology,  so we are better informed to take actions in future projects.
